About the Role

You will deliver engaging and communicative General English classes to international students from a range of backgrounds and proficiency levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an ELICOS trainer, your responsibilities will include:

• Teach General English classes aligned with the ELICOS curriculum.
• Plan and deliver learner-centred lessons based on student needs.
• Conduct an assessment to evaluate students’ needs and progress
• Monitor students’ attendance and progression
• Provide feedback on students’ progress
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Participate in curriculum review and professional development activities

Skills and Experience

ELICOS trainers must have the following minimum:

• Bachelor’s Degree & Certificate IV in TESOL
• Must have appropriate TESOL teaching experience or willing to be formally mentored by a senior staff member with this experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
