Teach English in Mexico
Mexico, a diverse country with much to see, from ancient Aztec Pyramids to sparkling beaches up and down the coastlines. As with many cultures, their perspective on both life and death is considerably different to many western cultures.
Something that symbolises this evidently is a festival called the ‘Day of the Day’ (Spanish: Dia de Muertos) on September 2.
Rather than mourning, this day is used to celebrate life with a deeper understanding and appreciation of death.
If that’s not your style, then check out something a little more upbeat and learn some Spanish so you can listen to some Mariachi music! As with most Latin cultures, the Mexican people are some of the most welcoming and friendly people you will ever meet.
