ESL Job in Italy
About the Job:
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated teachers with a keen interest in young learners, newly qualified or experienced, who want to join our teaching team in Palermo.
The school is locally well known for its high quality of teaching and teacher training. Being a small school enables us to dedicate time and attention to the individual needs of our teachers and to develop their teaching skills in tailormade development sessions and through peer observations.
Our teachers teach an average of 20 hours a week across a variety of contexts. Most of the teaching will be done off site in a state school context. There are also 4 hours of staff meetings, workshops and other duties per month. We work a 5 day week, however, most of our teachers work on Saturdays from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.
The contract will start 9th January 2023.
- Full mastery of English across all 4 skills to CEFR C1/ IELTS band 8
- TESOL Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- A keen interest in teaching young learners
- Right to work in the EU or hold a working visa for Italy
Salary and Holidays :
Salary: fixed, monthly salary (to be discussed with shortlisted candidates)
Holidays: 5 working days at Easter
National holidays: Paid national holidays
Travelling time to off site locations is paid
Part of the flight ticket is reimbursed
