About the College:
Impact English College is an accredited provider of English Language Intensive Courses to Overseas Students (ELICOS) with campuses in Melbourne and Brisbane.
We are now seeking experienced English language teachers for a range of teaching positions over the coming months. Working within a team environment, the successful applicants will be able to prepare and deliver high quality, dynamic ESL lessons.
General English teachers for on-going casual positions and cover/relief teaching with availability 5 days/week.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A recognised Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
- Certificate IV in TESOL
- Experience teaching General English courses in private ELICOS college settings
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional TESOL classroom practitioner with a demonstrable understanding of TESOL methodology, programs and assessment practices
- Sophisticated intercultural communication skills and understanding of the international student experience
- Willingness and flexibility to teach across a range of courses, levels and delivery modes
- Effective time management and organisational skills to meet teaching, assessment and administration deadlines
- Active contributor to positive staffroom collegiality/collaboration and workplace culture
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development
Desirable
- Available for both morning and afternoon classes
- Able to cover classes at short notice
- Teaching experience overseas

Salary
Impact teaching rates are in accordance with Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020.
