Canberra Business and Technology College (CBTC) is a private college located in Canberra.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, vibrant and qualified English Teacher who has the following:
- Bachelor Degree obtained or recognised in Australia and;
- A recognised TESOL qualification (Certificate IV in TESOL)
- Bachelor of Education with a TESOL major or equivalent
- Experience in teaching General English levels, IELTS, EAP, and EAL both productive and receptive skills
- Experience in motivating students from different backgrounds
- Experience in catering for the needs of students individually and as a class
- Experience in assessing students, producing reports, and providing feedback and academic counseling
- Understanding of compliance requirements in an ELICOS/RTO Organisation
The position can work at Elementary to Advanced levels providing English instructions to classes, involving teaching English skills, such as Listening, reading, writing and speaking.
