About the role (IELTS Teacher)
A Registered Training organization which has been operating in Australia for over 20 years. Our courses include English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses.
We are currently seeking an IELTS Teacher to join our professional team in Sydney CBD in a casual role, 5 days a week, evening sessions.
- Location: Sydney, CBD
Main duties/responsibilities include:
- Teaching and assisting in test marking
- Work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Manage classes and students effectively
- Be well prepared for each lesson
- Record attendance and class activities covered by each student each day
- Marking of student work immediately for fast turn-around time
- Other duties as requested by the Academic Manager
To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Selection Criteria:
- A 3-year bachelor’s degree completed or recognised in Australia
- Certificate IV in TESOL, or equivalent
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiastic and keen to work with the students
