ESL Job in Egypt
For the 2023-2024 academic year, the Sakkara Language School is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Elementary Teachers for the English Language Subject.
Contract starts September 1, 2023 and ends May 31, 2024. Teachers are expected to arrive in Cairo between Sep 1 to Sep 6 for orientation. Contract starts from day of arrival into Cairo.
The Sakkara Language School is a Private School located in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. The School Stages are Kindergarten, Primary Level, Preparatory Level, and Secondary Level. We also have an IGCSE and American High School Diploma Programs on campus. The School was established in 1993 to serve the Egyptian Community, American Community, and British Community who are seeking Advanced Education and Language skills.
Since 1993, the school has expanded very quickly. The number of students in 1994 was 34, while last academic year it was 1510. The school grows with its pupils, to keep the reputable standard and level of education that the school achieved among its peers. Our success comes from the open-minded mentalities of the School Board and to the diverse enthusiastic staff.
The teacher/pupil ratio is very high to assure comprehensive education, and to facilitate to those children, who are selected, a better academic future and Language proficiency. Number of students in each class averages 25 students.
Last academic year, we had 19 foreign teachers (Americans, Canadians, Australians, British and French). The different ideas, skills, and cultures are welcomed to enhance and motivate the students to study the English language, which is the first Language in the school beside the Arabic Language. The students study all Sciences in English starting from the early years.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor of Arts or Science
2) TESOL Certificate
3) Native Speaking English Teachers.
4) Excellent communicative skills with children.
5) Newly graduates are encouraged to apply, and experience is an asset.
