My Study Tour Experience!
When I was 15 years old, I joined a study tour in Australia from South Korea. I had such an amazing time learning English in a fun and exciting way while seeing parts of Australia. The Australian teachers were very easy to understand because they could explain everything really clearly through speaking, body language and games.
One of my highlights during the study tour was acting as Cinderella at a school performance. I was able to rehearse all of my lines in English and had memorised them almost perfectly. Also, I helped the other students with their scripts, encouraging them to speak loudly and clearly. But when it came time to act, I got extremely nervous and forgot all of my lines, so I quickly ran away as I was very embarrassed.
After that, I was paired up with a nice Australian girl who was my ‘buddy’ that introduced me to all of her friends and showed me around the school. We had such a great time together laughing and playing games. By the end of the study tour I felt really sad because I didn’t want to be apart from my new Australian friends. But I was very happy about my study tour experience and I hope other students can have a beautiful memory of study tour like me.
