ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are hiring teachers at our Brisbane campuses for our General English, Cambridge, IELTS, English for Business, Pronunciation and English for Vocational Studies courses.
At our Brisbane campus, we are currently looking for more EVENING teachers than DAY teachers, though there are still both available.
Additional benefits include:
- $200 signing bonus for DAY teachers paid to ELICOS teachers joining Greenwich. Bonus to be paid after 4 weeks of full-time employment/after 8 weeks part-time.
- $400 signing bonus for EVENING teachers paid to ELICOS teachers joining Greenwich. Bonus to be paid after 8 weeks of full-time EVENING employment.
- On-call, last-minute flat relief rate of $70/hour, regardless of regular rate. Applies to same-day relief only.
- A 75% discount on any Vocational Courses offered by Greenwich Management College
- Fortnightly Professional Development sessions (optional) + Paid Professional Development Day each August – (paid at Award ‘daily rate’, equivalent to 5 hours)
- Potential for PERMANENT CONTRACT after 6 months of employment
- Potential for SPONSORSHIP after 6 months of employment
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates will ideally have excellent grammar knowledge and some experience in teaching the course applied for; however, new graduates are welcome to apply as we have many positions open.
Teachers who are dynamic, motivated, and professional with a positive, friendly teaching persona are welcome to apply. Completing Administrative duties to schedule and basic computer literacy are also essential to the role.
All candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree plus a Certificate IV in TESOL, which includes at least six hours of observed teaching practice.
