ESL Job Teaching Online
ILC is seeking highly qualified, professional native English language coaches to be team members at an elite Tokyo-based language school for online coaching of adult Japanese students.
Lesson availability: Monday to Saturday, from 5:30AM , Japan Standard Time
Minimum coach availability requirement: 15 hours per week
Payment: Monthly on the 15th
Online platforms: Company provided (free) Zoom Pro account & Microsoft 365 account
Curriculum: Company provided (free) Pearson digital material & coach-sourced materials
*Students are assigned to the coach for the complete 1-year program
*Coaches are paid even if the student does not attend a lesson
*Extremely stable earnings
*Adult students (professionals & executives) – no children
*99% of lessons are private
*Native-fluent Japanese consultant supports coach & student
We use the term coach instead of teacher as our coaches do not drill grammar but use a holistic, goal-oriented approach to support our students to reach their English communication goals.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Recognised International TESOL Certificate
- Native English speakers of the following countries: America, Australia, Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa
- Native-fluent English speakers
- Home office/workspace
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Accountable, responsible & professional
- Equipment required: computer & headset, Phones & tablets are not acceptable
