ESL Job in Romania
Mini-American Summer School will again offer a teaching/travel volunter experience in the Carpathian Mountains of Northern Romania in the city of Miercurea Ciuc,four hours north of the capital city, Bucharest. This will be the second summer for Mini-American Summer School/Romania post-pandemic. In 2019, our team of six teachers worked with 90 Romanian students grades 6 thru 11 and 30 Regional ESL Teachers.This summer we will offer two one week summer school sessions, Session I, July 3-7, for students and Session II, July 10-14, for ESL teachers. In 2023, we will provide students and teachers with a variety of interactive experiences designed to build on their regular school year ESL classroom experiences. Session I will be limited to approximately 80 students with 10-15 students per group, and Session II will be limited to approximately 25 to 30 regional ESL teachers. I am in need of 2 to 3 educators to complete my 2023 Volunteer team. Costs: This is a volunteer program with the team member responsible for their airfare to and from Bucharest and a some miscellaneous costs. The program will provide two nights at a Bucharest hotel with breakfast provided, a City tour of Bucharest, transportation to and from Bucharest, room, board and cultural excursions throughout the Mini-American Summer School Experience.
