Choice Business College is a CRICOS registered training provider, with campuses and practical training kitchens in Sydney and Melbourne.
We are currently seeking passionate and experienced ELICOS Teacher, to join our academic team, at our Sydney campus.
The successful applicant(s) will be able to manage the ELICOS Department and also teach one class of the General English class (20 hours per week). The current schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm.
The Role
- Teach the above mentioned courses
- Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery
- Support development of training & assessment strategies
- Support the development of Teaching resources
- Participate in and contribute to moderation and validation.
Essential Skills & Experience required to teach ELICOS courses
- An Australian-recognised degree or higher qualification. (TESOL or Education degrees preferred)
- A Certificate IV in TESOL
- ELICOS teaching experience in Australia
- A demonstrated track-record in delivering student-centred classes
- An ability to teach a range of levels from elementary to advanced
- A highly motivating and engaging classroom manner with outstanding presentation skills
