Alana Kaye College is a multi-award winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO 70056, CRICOS 03675K) with state of the art campus’ in both Gold Coast , Queensland and Darwin, Northern Territory. We are seeking a casual experienced ELICOS Teacher to join our team at our Darwin campus.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver and assess ELICOS Program
- Provide quality teaching to a range of learners and levels
- Develop and deliver lesson plans with clear objectives
- Ability to develop student resources
- Record and maintain all assessment results on official documentation and in accordance with organisational procedures
- Monitor student progress and support by developing a comprehensive intervention strategy
- Monitor and mark attendance and enter results in SMS system
- Assistance with student resource development
- Use curriculum in both textbook and an online platform
- Participate in industry consultation, moderation, staff, and validation meetings (Professional Development)
- Create an engaging and positive learning environment for students
About You:
To be considered for this position, applicants need to have the following:
- Cert IV TESOL
- A recognised University degree of at least three years full-time or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work within a team and under the direction of the Academic Manager
- Excellent ability to support and mentor students
- Excellent ability to engage students in classroom delivery
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
