About the business and the role
We are a Registered Training Organisation (Institute of Tec hnology Australia) providing IT, Business, Construction and Trade qualification courses dedicated to career-focused and quality education since 2007.
Due to our ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and passionate ELICOS (General English Course) to join our friendly team at our Adelaide campus.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Using our LMS platform to deliver digital content while embedding your own unique/industry-relevant experiences to enrich the learning environment.
- Marking students’ assessments and providing quality feedback.
- Ensuring up-to-date industry currency.
- Complying with industry-specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework applicable to the qualification being delivered.
- Accurately recording, tracking, and reporting students’ attendance, results, and unit outcomes.
Qualification and experience
- A recognised degree and
- A Certificate IV in TESOL
- Experience teaching academic English (desirable)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience (desirable)
You will require the following skills:
- Must have relevant qualifications at the level of teaching
- Ability to follow RTO policies & procedures
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Highly organised and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
