About the role
We currently have opportunities available at our Brisbane and Gold Coast campuses for teachers in our fun Junior Holiday program and Academic School Preparation programs.
You will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to the BROWNS curricula and standard
- Help plan and supervise student excursions off campus / activities on campus
- Monitor attendance, provide study support, and guidance on skills development
- be part of a friendly collegial team across 3 campuses in different cities
Qualifications & Experience
- A recognised degree (any field) and a Certificate IV in TESOL
- (or) A recognised degree in Education with a TESOL component
- Fluent English skills and extensive knowledge of the language
- A valid Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is desirable
- Previous teaching experience with school aged children
- A dynamic approach to teaching with the ability to adapt to different English levels, ages and cultural backgrounds
- Digital literacy is preferred, and you should be comfortable using technology in the classroom and for team communication
- Work rights in Australia.
