ESL Job in Perth
Opportunity for New Graduates!
Gold Educational Tours is seeking confident, culturally curious ESL educators to be part of a unique language and cultural immersion program in Perth this January. You will guide enthusiastic Japanese high school students through interactive English lessons designed to build confidence, cultural awareness, and communication skills. All lesson plans and materials are prepared for you, and your job is to bring the classroom to life.
Program Dates:
- Week 1: 13 – 16 January (3 hours/ day)
- Week 2: 19 – 22 January (3 hours/ day)
What You’ll Do:
Deliver beginner to intermediate English lessons using the provided materials. Bring energy, warmth, and curiosity to every class. Foster a fun, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Adapt to the pace and needs of each group. Collaborate with a supportive onsite team.

Sessions are held near UWA. Each program runs for four consecutive days, with approximately 3 hours of classroom facilitation per day to a class size of up to 10 students. Facilitators are engaged on a casual basis and compensated hourly for teaching time. A short paid training session will be provided before program commencement.
About You:
Currently residing in Perth, WA. Confident in leading a classroom and engaging young learners. Experience teaching or working with students, especially in cross-cultural settings. Enthusiastic about Japanese culture and fostering intercultural connections. Reliable, adaptable, and professional.
Essential:
Native or near-native English proficiency. Currently residing or able to travel to and from Crawley, WA. Previous teaching or mentoring experience. Full Australian work rights are required for this position.
