About the role

As our new ELICOS General English Trainer:

You will play a key role in providing high-level student engagement and progression, with an already focused cohort, using our existing resources, assessments and curriculum. The role requires a high degree of initiative and self-management and requires someone who thrives in a learning and principles-based environment.

Must have skills & qualifications:

• Efficient and highly skilled professional attitude and approach
• A passion for real world engagement with international students in a face-to-face classroom environment
• Must display exceptional organisation and high-level communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow a prescribed curriculum including associated requirements such as course progress monitoring and resulting
• Passion for planning and carrying out activities that promote learning, language skills development and enhance the interests of students
• A Bachelor’s Degree (any field)
• A Certificate IV TESOL qualification or higher qualification that contains TESOL as a method
• Minimum 2 years TESOL teaching experience
• Ability to use and allocate available resources and networks effectively (internal and external).
